Elder Positions
Spots are currently: Open
The Elders are the leaders of the faction from an IC perspective. They are the wisest and 2nd most powerful Vortigaunts in a given area. Their control over the Vortessence surpasses the other Vorts and they possess more powerful abilities. Their experience enables them to have a near perfect decision making when they are in trouble. They are also excellent teachers and mentors. Most of them are devoted to the area they are station in and rarely travel outside it.
To become one from an OOC perspective you need a healthy amount of experience in the faction. You need to be able to lead others when required to. You are also required to act as a teacher for other players, helping them improve and fixing their mistakes. This position has a lot of responsibilities tied to it, we hope you understand this fact. Here are few non-mandatory requirements you need to pass in order to have a good chance at being accepted. These serve as guidelines rather than rules.
Activity. You need to be more active than the others in the faction. This position is limited to 3 people, which means that inactivity is severely looked down upon. If you are inactive for a whole week without a valid reason, you will be considered for demotion.
Knowledge of the lore and faction. While you don’t need to know /everything/, we do recommend you learn everything you can about vortigaunts, how they function, their lore, etc. You need to be able to correct any lore mistake done by other members in the faction on the fly.
English. This goes without saying, but you need to have near perfect English. Spelling and punctuation needs to be on point. Also, your own dictionary of words needs to be fairly large. You are required to have a deep understanding of the language and how to use it.
Leadership. You are the role model for other Vortigaunts. You are the person they look up to. The better you are at RPing your Elder, the more people will learn from you and improve themselves.
RP. Obviously, you need to be very good at RPing a Vortigaunt. You will become a severe turn-off if your RP isn’t on point. This also worsens the image of the faction, which is why you need to very skilled at it. This includes fear rp, life/death rp, etc.
